Lovely quiet room with stunning sea views perfect for hours of people and wildlife watching. The deep tub added a nice touch of relaxation at the end of a day.
The decor felt a bit outdated, and the fireplace couldn't be used when the chill set in. Having more towels for two guests would have improved the overall experience.

The Big Sur Room offered stunning views, making our mornings absolutely special. Val, the owner, provided a warm welcome by leaving a lovely bottle of wine for my fiancé's birthday. The room felt private, and the cleanliness was impeccable. A highlight was the bakery right below. it had incredible pastries perfect for breakfast. Watching the boats and sea otters from our bed was a delightful experience. However, the room could benefit from an inside lock for extra security. Also, a few more towels would have been appreciated. The decor seemed a bit outdated, and I wished the fireplace was operational during our stay. Still, the location couldn't be better, with restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

The fireplace was not operational during our stay, which was disappointing on cooler nights.

Staying with my big family, including 5 teenagers and 2 kids, was a blast! We loved that we could easily take a stroll by the bay and catch sight of the intense jets of water that splash from the boats. The room was also nice and quiet.
For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly activities.

I loved how the bakery downstairs had the freshest pastries. Every morning we brought breakfast back to our room and enjoyed it with a fine view of the bay.
It wasn’t inexpensive but certainly worth it.

Incredible Views and Relaxing Atmosphere
We had a fantastic stay with breathtaking views from our room. Val was an incredibly helpful hostess, always suggesting the best local dining spots and activities. The bakery right below had some of the freshest pastries around, perfect for enjoying in the comfort of our room. The location made everything accessible without needing to use our car much. One small area for improvement might be to add a lock on the inside of the front door for added security.
